Punta Cana, La Altagracia.- Grupo Puntacana announced the fifteenth edition of the
Punta Cana Carnival, to be held next Saturday, February 2, 2024, at the
1st Boulevard. November of Puntacana Village.
The grand parade will begin at 3:00 in the afternoon with the participation of more than 20
troupes, more than 1,500 national and international carnival members, who will celebrate the
Dominican folklore and culture. It is estimated to receive more than 15 thousand people between
nationals and tourists.
In this edition there will be live music, food trucks and entertainment in an environment
familiar and safe.
About the Punta Cana Carnival
The Punta Cana Carnival is the most anticipated meeting of art and culture in the
Eastern region. The cultural festival was born in 2008, as a Group initiative
Puntacana, with the purpose of promoting the folklore traditions of the Republic
Dominican Republic and the invited countries, to the thousands of local and foreign visitors.
Among the emblematic troupes of the Punta Cana Carnival are “Las Musas de
Punta Cana”, made up of a group of ladies from the community, who every year

Dominican culture.
The Muses of Punta Cana are accompanied by the Puntacana troupe
International School (PCIS), in which students and members of the staff of the
school with ingenious carnival costumes, symbolizing themes related to
environment and culture of the country. The Three Caras troupe also participates,
the protectors of The Muses.
